LCM Championship Meet Results
What an exceptional 2008 New England LMSC Long Course Meters Championship! We had
the pleasure of seeing historic, world-record setting swims and spending time with
fellow swimmers from around the region. Now reality sets in: everyone
has gone their separate ways, the pool has been converted to short course yards and there is only
one thing left to do... Start training for next year's meet! (As for
myself, I had a post-meet chocolate milkshake to give me something to work off.
It's all about setting the right goals...)
Thanks to all the swimmers, officials, volunteers and kind-hearted spouses who make
this event possible. Without you it would be just another weekend.

New England Master's Swimmer Hodding Carter has been training for a chance to qualify
for the 2008 Olympic swim team. We were lucky enough to have him at our meet and
read from his latest book at the Saturday Social.
