Friday's Results
Lynn Marshall, 50, set a Canadian and World Record in the 800 Free split in her
1500 Free in the 50-54 women's age group. She swims for Carleton University
Masters in Ottawa, Ontario.
Her time was 9:38.04 and broke her Canadian Record she set earlier this year of
9:48.28. The World Record, through 2010 was 9:48.81 set in 2008.
She then set a new Canadian Record in the 200 Free from her split in the 800 free.
Her time was 2:17.65 which is faster than her previous record of 2:20.59.

Ian Smith set a Canadian national record with his 100-meter freestyle in the
men's 70-74 age group. Ian's time was a 1:06.27.
The Canadian team of Erda Dillinger (70), Liliane Cardinal (62), Sheila Naiman
(81) and Mae Waldie (76) set a new Canadian National Record in the 400-meter
free relay for the Women's 280-319 age group with their time of 7:08.88.

Sunday's Results
Ian Smith, swimming from YMCA Montreal, set both the Canadian and World Record in
the men's 70-74 age group, with a time of 28.35 in the 50-meter freestyle.
Ian's 32.94 also set a Canadian record in the 50-meter butterfly, surpassing
the existing record of 34.09.
Lynn Marshall, set a Canadian record in the women's 50-54 200-meter butterfly,
with her time of 2:34.93. The prior record for that category was a 2:48.72.
Lynn also set the Canadian record in the 200-Free, with a time of 2:17.65.
Again, the Canadian powerhouse team of Mae Waldie, Erda Dillinger, Liliane
Cardinal and Sheila Naiman set a new Canadian National Record in the 400-meter
medly relay for the Women's 280-319 age group with their time of 8:25.81.
